Well I don't know about a V8 powered snow blower :) But my little 20 horse MTD White managed to ingest a 6 inch round river stone from around a flower bed next to the drive way and deposit it 45 feet away. first bouncing of a tree, then directly through my wife's rear car window. At which point a foot and a half of snow fell through it from the roof of the car. I was very popular :) Rod ![]() |

Rod, your story reminds me of the "Mayhem" ad where the teenage son is mowing the flower bed full of river rocks and machine guns the family car. |

I really could have used that Snowblower today. Snow was so deep, it kept stalling out mine. |

Graeme Do we now know where the Prince of Darknes ended up - making V-8 chainsaws in Oz? Jud |

We don't get much snow here as a rule Jim, but what we get is usually here all winter. Most of the snow that fell back in early December is still on the ground. Our average temp in December was 13 F. Since the first of December we have been above freezing (barely) maybe two or three times. I live in a valley and the cold air settles and gets trapped here like water in a bowl. Quite often it;s 20 degrees warmer at a ski area 30 miles east of me at 10000 ft compared to our 4800 ft elevation. Here is the real beast of snow blowers. ![]() |
