MG TD TF 1500 - Southern Snow - OT

OK, it's pretty but with all due respect I'd be just as happy if you northerners would keep it up there :-)

Here in Northern Vermont we have less than a foot on the ground, but it is -20' again. It was 30 below this morning. It has been below freezing (often below zero) for over 30 days in a row.
My cousin lives just south of Boston and he has over 4 feet on the ground with drifts up to his roof.
One crazy winter.

Outside my office last week, 72 outside now!

It's bloody freezing here in Phila - 7F this morning - and I'm damn tired of it.

And as to you, George, to paraphrase Clarence Darrow, "I never wanted to see anybody suffer a hurricane, but there are a few hurricane notices I have read with pleasure."

Pfffftttt!

;)

Of course we did have the eye of hurricanes Jeanne and Francis pass within 20 miles of us, and the eye of Charlie over our house in 2004! Not fun whatsoever. George

RD (and Tom), That's rather mild for where you are. I spent to "glorious" winters in ME courtesy of my Uncle Sam before he shipped me off the Greenland. The first winter we had 17 feet of snow and the next winter it really snowed (peaks of roofs visible but no windows or walls). Greenland is a desert and the only snow we saw was blown in 500 miles from the Pole. In my dotage I've become rather fond of milder weather and the joys of tooling around in a TD. Jud

RD, since Maine has more cocaine use than California, I'll trade you some of the cold kind for some of the nose kind. We need the frozen stuff far more than the other! ;)

We get plenty of snow in Northern California, and also at the higher elevations of the Southern part of the state. But rarely down low in the Southern areas (like LA and San Diego). Usually 3,000 feet is about the lower limit in So Cal. That's why I live below 3,000 feet!

Rain and snow in the area yesterday, but sunny and high 60's today. The TC is out and about today.

Come down here to Beaufort, Jud...you can put the top (hood) down...... just kidding!

Jud, We have had snow almost every other day- can't help it if a little goes astray and gives SC a little dusting.

Here in Ct, we have learned how to keep warm with the snow,,,,
