MG TD TF 1500 - Spark Plugs
Hi, I rebuild te engine from my TD , now i need the spark plugs, , i need te long one's , does anybody have a serial number or ordernumber for these plug . Witch are beter champion or NGK on a standard engine thanks serge |

Serge, Champion N5C or equivalent (NGK B5ES) Gap: .025 Tighten to 26-30 lb-ft Jim |

26 to 30 lb-ft is ok for 18 mm plugs, but the N5C is a 14 mm plug. Specs are 18 - 25 lb-ft Jim B. |

You might look around for Autolite AP425 plugs. They are Platinum and far superior to the others. |

I have used Champion RN5C, a resister plug to reduce the electrical noise ( RF ) so I can use a CB radio in my TF. They have worked great since 1980. |
