I don't think the dates "match" on the "generator." A couple of problems with the front float bowl.

Flipped speedo. Also interesting it comes up as TD2 in the records.

Chris if the chassis # 13826 it will have a TD2. TD3 production began June of 1952. TD/c 16920 was built June 9 1953 and was the third production TD3 according to Tom Lange's earlier sleuthing and PMs.

Black medallions on hubcaps I don't believe are correct prior to TD3 production also as that became part of the "Mark II" appearance items

TD/C13803 is indeed a genuine TD/C, with original engine, one of 13 made on the same day. The MARK II badges on the bonnet were later additions, frequently added by owners to highlight the special Mark II features. The in-painted hubcap medallions are correct castings, quite different from the later Mark II b/w enamel spare-tire badge.

To pick nits, the wheels should be silver, the air cleaners and flexible fuel-line routing are obviously wrong, the threshold plates should be plain, door hinges should be painted, wrong steering hub and central dash color, wrong ammeter and later ignition switch, wrong coil, wrong toolkit and plug wires, appears to be the wrong generator without the tach drive, etc. etc. But a quite presentable Mark II car, which could easily be up-graded to correct standards.

Low mileage? After restoration, yes; original low-miles? no.

Driving around with the front tickler pin missing could be dangerous

I like the colour combo, the matching piping to the Ivory body colour & that someone spent some time straightening out the grille, which is often overlooked, presumably because it's both difficult & time consuming. On the RHS the bonnet/scuttle line is out of whack (but may be due to that side not being latched closed). Not so on the LHS side though. Agree with Tom's assessment. Will make a nice car for someone. Cheers
