MG TD TF 1500 - Storing Photographs
There are a few TFs for sale on eBay and there are some good photos along with their descriptions. I have attempted to store them for reference by pressing control + S but without luck. Control + P prints them but the colours aren't too good. Any tips on storing the pics? Jan T |

Dependent on you operating system: In windows "right click" on the photo should give you the option to save it to your computer. Right click on your desktop should give you the option to create a folder you can rename and store them in. Problem is ebay pic's are reduced in quality when uploaded so the quality won't be very good if you try to enlarge them for viewing. |

Jan, Dave is correct. Sometimes though they have javascript to disable the ability to "save as"... in which case, just take a screenshot (printscreen or printscreen plus some combo of alt or shift lets you print the whole desktop or just the active window). |

jan, Dave is correct(again!) or you can get a program such as "Snagit" or another that came with "Office" called "Snip-It",, They allow you to capture ANYTHING on your screen and turn it into a jpg... If you do a search for SNAGIT, I believe they give you the option to try it for free,,, SPW |

Snipping tool (perhaps the "Snip-It" that Steve quotes) is the best capture program that has come out recently. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/snipping-tool Cheers - Dave PS - if you are going to post a picture that has been captured on line, be sure to follow the instructions on removing the URL from the snipped picture to avoid a law suit for pirating a picture and change the name of the picture to one that is different from the original - don't ask how we know that :-( |

If you cannot use the right mouse button trick or other save as options, you can always get the same quality image you see on your screen captured. Just press the Print Screen key on your keyboard and then open MS Paint program or other digital picture tool. Paste the image into the editor and then use the crop tool to remove the borders and other junk, then save the picture. Its not good for high resolution captures but it does allow you to save anything, including text or other items that won't let you print or copy. Basically if it shows on the screen you can make a copy of it. |
