Great stuff - I've bookmarked that so I can find it. LaVerne, I assume TF would be basically the same, if not the same? Ian TF4056 |

Same deal on the TF with the exception of possible issues with horn interference and the bar. On my TF I had to move the horns slightly but they were the Moss Chinese replacements. The original Lucas horns might possibly clear. For those of you that don't have a lift, I'd recommend that you do the project with the front wheels on a set of portable ramps if possible and the center cross member firmly blocked. You will need the additional height to allow the spring pan to fully drop to release the spring. The use of the bottle jack isn't needed, it was an attempt to move the pan arm in line for the bolt without releasing all of the pan bolts. Also the locator clamps can be mounted on either side of the dumb iron mounts. The stock location on an MGB would be on the inside. On my TF there wasn't room do to horn interference. TD could have been done either way. |

Thank you Laverne! This is exactly the info I needed for part of my do-list for this winter. It seems to be a pretty smooth process mounting this sway bar, but I wasnt aware of the locator clamps. Have they always been a part of the setup? thank you, Jan |
