MG TD TF 1500 - Switch Nut Tool
Who sells the tool to tighten the chrome nut on the dash switches? The nut with the slot on each side. PJ
Paul S Jennings
I see those on ebay all the time, check the MG Auction watch... but wouldn't you know, I can't see it now :) Check under tools... it will show up. http://www.mgauctionwatch.com/
Geoffrey M Baker
The problem is, they come in different sizes and ebay has so many, I haven't a clue which is the right one for our switches. At 15 to 20 bucks each, I want to get the right one. PJ

the ebay sellers name is " britishtool" doesn't seem to have it listed at the moment.

Is this what you are looking for? Moss part no. 384-960. Kinda pricey but should do the job. http://www.mossmotors.com/Shop/ViewProducts.aspx?PlateIndexID=93016&SortOrder=10

I made my own using old deep sockets. One was 1/2" other one 9/16.A few minutes with a Dremel is all it takes. I call it GRIND TO FIT. Sandy
SANDY
Did the same as Sandy ...what else you gonna do with those odd Chinese sockets that seem to accumulate in the tool box!

Yeah, your right! I have some old deep sockets. I'll get one of the right size and make one, easy to do. Probably never get used again. PJ
