MG TD TF 1500 - TD 16225 whereabouts?
I sold this car after 15 years of happy ownership about 10 years ago and wonder if anybody knows it's whereabouts? I recall it went off on a truck to the New Jersey area. I recall the engine number was 16610. BrianW. |

It might be dated info but it shows up owned by Brian Warmuth in West Virginia on George Merson's TD list at: http://www.ttalk.info/MersonListold.htm |

Brian, I think I saw the name Warmuth on a recent thread here in the last few days, maybe it's the same person. Don Sth. Oz TF 4887 |

Yeah, George Merson's info is out of date for that car! I'm Brian W, and I did indeed start this thread about finding my old TD 's current owner. Oh, and the car was/ is a RHD (home) model. Regards, Brian W., former owner of TD 16225' XPAG/16610 |

According to the factory record TD/16225 EXR/NA was a right hand drive North American Model??? |

Yes Don....see my post immediately above yours. Thanks, Brian W. |

There is a difference between a "RHD (home)" (i.e. intended for the British market) and a RHD car intended for North America (EXR/NA), which would have to be supplied by special order. RHD cars like this were sometimes ordered specifically for US racing - it's a shame that no detailed factory records of things like this survive. Tom Lange MGT Repair |
