MG TD TF 1500 - TD Master cylinder

is there a sucsessful modification to reposition brake master cylinder on the firewall or any accessable position ?

The master cylinder has to stay where it is under the floor, but for the purposes of topping up the fluid a reservoir can be added on the firewall / bulkhead. There are a couple of ways of doing it - some master cylinders have a plug in the end that can be drilled and tapped for a fitting, others don't have this and the fitting needs to be attached to the cap. Then its a case of running a pipe up to the reservoir in the desired position.

My stainless steel braided hose master cylinder remote reservoir kit is a top entry.

I have installed the kit from Declan. Very easy install and makes checking fluid level a snap.

Tidy work, but is this an answer in search of a problem? When I re-do a brake system I don't think I add fluid ever. Seems to me that if you need to add fluid, it is a sign of something wrong.

Tom,
I think you are missing the point and I think we went through all this before. None of us are getting any younger and we all know the problems and acrobatics associated with crawling into the tub on a T-Series car to check brake fluid level or to top up if necessary.
The remote fluid reservoir enables you to check the level by simply raising the bonnet. It makes life just that bit easier but everyone to their own opinion and I am unanimous about that!

It also means you do not run the risk of brake fluid on your nice carpets. I did ours a couple of years ago and can flush and bleed with ease and not worry about air inclusion. My car is nowhere standard but all mods done to make my life easier.

my original question was badly worded i know the master cylinder must stay as is
Declan has provided the answer that i needed and i have ordered one
Tom ,I respect your opinion I agree with Declan and RAY TF thats why my brake fluid seldom gets checked
