MG TD TF 1500 - TD seat back sleeve

I'm trying to install the sleeves for the seat back hinges on a 1950 TD. The seat bottoms/rails are installed with the hinges. The sleeves are centered on the seat back. Re the picture, are they installed at the correct height? The bottom of the sleeve is at the bottom of the seat back. Thanks!

Here's an original seat back with dimensions. Hope this helps.

Wow I never knew such hinge guides existed as my seat back was not original!! Thanks!

What are the 4 bolt(?) holes (located across the back about at the top of the guides for? Something else I don't have I suppose.

Yes Roy, that's exactly what I needed. Thank you. The car came to me w/ the seat rails bolted front & rear to the floor boards w/ no rear hinges or sleeves.

Randy-
Those are not holes. They are four "press-the-dot" studs for fastening a half tonneau cover to the bottom of the seat back. I never had one but I believe the tonneau was threaded down through the round bar at the top of the seat and fastened to the studs.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Roy,

That's correct. The straps from the half tonneau to the studs are made from an elastic material so the half tonneau gets stretched (if that's correct English...).

@Roy Challberg: Can you send me a high resolution image of your seat back dimension picture and I can post it on the TD site. Very informative.
Christopher Couper

Done- it's in the mail.

Jasper, thanks for the explanation of the 4 holes across the seat back. They were on the seat back when I took the upholstery off but there were no corresponding holes in the upholstery material. The upholstery had been replaced but not the lift a dot studs. Now I know what goes there.

Thanks, but you should credit Roy, he was first...
