I'd love to be there, Peter, but it's a longer drive than I'm prepared to take in my TD. I do have fond memories of Lane Cove National Park, though. My son and his wife spent a couple of years in Sydney and it was just a short walk from their apartment to great walking tracks in the beautiful park. It felt like you were far, far away from the big city. But I never saw a T-type there, I'm sorry to say.

You'll be there in spirit Joe!

I hope to be there Peter and possibly bring a couple of mates with me. I won't be able to bring my TD as it is about 4 months away from completion.

This sounds like a great event Peter. If I wasn't a several thousand miles and time zones away I'd be willing to go.

Be sure to follow up how it goes.

Thanks for the support Joe & Frank. I look forward to catching up with you on the day John. Has your mate registered his TD yet? Be great if he was able to bring it along. This low cost event is open to all T Type owners so even if you don't see yourself as a club joiner you'll be made to feel very welcome. We're hoping for a big turnout so if you're into T Types get yourself along, even if you can't bring your M.G. Should be a great day. Cheers

Can you record the sessions? I'd be excited to see them on Youtube. My '51 is a work-in-progress and I can use all the help I can get. Thanks, Mike

Sorry Mike. I don't have the equipment to do that but happy to try & answer queries via this site. Cheers

T Type Tech Day is on tomorrow! Last minute attendees are very welcome. Contact info & details above. John Walton could you please bring along the latest on the water pump seal? Weather promises to be great & as there are at least 9 T Types coming & about 20 owners, we should have a great day. I'll take some pics & post them on Monday. Cheers

Just back from the Tech Day & I'm sitting back with a glass of fine Aussie red. We had 18 owners turn up with 7 T Types. 2 TC's, 2 TD's & 3 TF's (& a couple of B's). See pics attached. One of the TC's left before I had a chance to record his appearance for posterity. The MGRA had 6 visitors who thoroughly enjoyed the day & were keen to turn up for the next event. Norms's presentation on the restoration of the ivory TD started the day off followed by yours truly spending 45 minutes on TD/TF originality, covering 38 items. Steve then did a compression test on the green TF & after a minor scare with a malfunctioning gauge (made by, you guessed it, the Prince of Darkness), he gave the car a clean bill of health. Rob then took us through tools for T Types. The day was rounded off with a demonstration of double flaring Cunifer brake lines. The venue was great with the Lane Cove River beside us, the weather perfect, sunny, 25 degrees & with a gentle breeze. And you couldn't have asked for better company. All in all a magic day! So if you've got a T Type consider yourself invited to next year's event! Call me ambitious but I'd just love to see 20 T Types! Cheers
