MG TD TF 1500 - TD turn signal issue
| Working out some nitty details and have a problem I can't seem to sort out. I have a new Moss harness for turn signals, the Moss electronic relay box and an NOS Lucas vacuum switch. Problem encountered is that they signals all flash like hazard lights with the key on and the switch in any position. I'm pretty sure I wired it correctly but... Regards Bill Chasser TD4834 |

| Bill, I'm not too sure about the Moss electronic unit, but if it has the same terminal numbering as the original one measure the voltage on 4 & 8. It sounds like you have a 'hot' wire going to the box pre the turn signal unit. Regards, Don TF 4887 |

| If you are talking about the relay unit, the Moss unit is not electronic, it just uses modern day double throw relays in a single unit with the terminals marked the same way as the original relay unit. Bill, when you meter the box, follow the same as though you are testing the original relay box. Cheers - Dave |

| When I put turn signals on the TD the new relay was defective right out of the box. It can happen but you will want to triple check your wiring before drawing that conclusion. |

| Can someone give me the wire color codes for the relay box and vacuum switch and there placement. I'm away from home for a few days and really would like to sort out the turn signals. Thanks in advance Bill Chasser TD4834 |
