MG TD TF 1500 - TD Wheel Bearing installation
Hello: I'm redoing the front suspension on our TD MK II. In the haste of disassembly, I forgot to take a picture of the oil seal orientation. Are the attached pictures of the side toward the engine or side toward the wheel? Many thanks for the help, Matt ![]() |

Had you considered sealed bearings? Bud |

Matt, Is your Allard going to be there also ??? SPW |

@ Bud: I hadn't. I thought about tapered, but I don't know about sealed ones. Do they require no maintenance? Where do you get them? @ Steve: Sorry not this year. Plan to display it at the reopening of the Thomson Road Course though... and perhaps at BBTS 2015 |

Most any bearing supply shop. There have been a couple of threads about them. No maintenance? How long is lifetime? I have a couple of empty boxes on my shelf that say 6306-2RD-QE6 for the larger one and 6304-2RD-QE6 for the smaller. They are the ones from KML. Cost about $70 for the set of 4. Bud |
