MG TD TF 1500 - TF 1500 rear reflector placement
My body man welded up the holes for mounting the TF 1500 rear reflectors. Can someone send me a fine measurement of how far below the top trim rail and how far from the fuel tank end panel to the rubber surround of the reflector? thanks, Tyler ![]() |

Tyler Here's a shot of mine. I don't know about specific measurements. Not much room for variation on this. The "hole" above the reflector is for a tonneau stud that I need to reinstall. Tom '54 TF ![]() |

Tyler, On my car, the edge of the reflector rubber is exactly 1 inch below the bottom edge of the convertible top and 3/16 of an inch out from the gas tank side panel. Jack |

Tyler, Have photographed the reflector hole on my TF1500 for you but as we use metric in Australia & I couldn't locate my imperial ruler hope this helps. Down from the top is exactly 70mm In from the end fold of the rear panel behind the gas tank 80mm. Cheers John ![]() |

OBTW: Good time to drill another and run wires from brake/turn signals to the reflectors. I put some led ones in mine ...gets them "up" where the guy behind you can see them! Can't tell they are there till them come on. |
