MG TD TF 1500 - TF 4887 almost made it

I haven't quite finished "Figaro' for the All British Day next Sunday. But this is how it is going on a trailer.
I have to take all the panels off for their final colour and finish and paint and fit the front guards and running boards which I hope to have done in the next few weeks.
I did all the work myself so it's not a 'trailer queen', but more of a 'driven tart.

Don -

It's lookin' good.

I find that "works in progress" draw more attention at shows than finished cars.

Hi Don,

It is so pleasing to hear that you have done the work.
It seems to be a rarer thing particularly in relation to Concours cars.

I often find it amusing at shows listening to owners giving the impression to the admirers that they had restored the car,I knowing full well that the 'professionals' had done almost all the work!

You are to be commended for your zealous approach, not giving up
when the going gets tough. Love it.

Cheers.

Don,
a great looking car. Can we look forward to seeing "her" in this years Bay to Birdwood? The hills are magic in a TF.

I'm always impressed with "new construction" so don't feel bad if everyone fawns over your beautiful car. Good job, be proud of your work!!

... and congratulations for resisting putting on tacky, black, contrasting wing piping. The car never came from the factory that way, either.

Looks fabulous. Wish mine looked like that!
