MG TD TF 1500 - TF accelerator spring and bracket
Can anyone tell me the length of the accelerator spring and bracket, the bracket coming from the top starter motor bolt. None on mine so will need to make one Thanks george |

Moss sells them both - MUCH easier... 433-550 $28.95 BRACKET, throttle spring (on starter) 329-310 $11.95 SPRING, throttle return Tom Lange MGT Repair |

Not for me Tom, $11.95 + 9.45 postage + 10 -15 days. |

Bracket is 3" long and tapered (as best as I can tell by reaching a ruler down there). Should not be too hard to adapt a spring. Matthew. ![]() |

Definitely a home-made job, and putting as lot of unnecessary strain (and wear) on the throttle shafts! That's another reason why it is important to have the correct spring, in both diameter and length. Tom Lange MGT Repair |

Hi Tom, I have made the bracket ready for attachment to the top starter bolt, would you by chance have the size of the spring handy. Regards George |
