MG TD TF 1500 - TF Generator
Need an assembly break up on my TF Generator, have a wave type spring / tension washer that I am not sure where it goes |

Mate Just Google Lucas Generator Parts Schematic and choose Images. Plenty of good diagrams available. I believe the washer in question goes on the armature shaft next to the commutator. Graeme |

Looked at that Graeme, seems to me that it is called a wavy washer and goes behind the Bearing, still not sure on this though. thanks for your info mate george |

G, see http://www.ttalk.info/Holcombe.htm One of the images shows the order of assembly of the parts. Bud |

Thanks a lot Bud, by the way do you know the part number for the rear bronze bush, it does not look too bad but I think I will replace it. / Regards George Looking at that I don't think the wavy washer , the felt and the metal cup thingy are needed when you use a sealed bearing. |
