MG TD TF 1500 - Tf Grille Slats Attachment?
When I bought my '54 TF it didn't have the grille slats or attachment brackets but I've since found what I think I need. Except, I don't know how it goes together. Can someone post a photo of how the slats attach to the brackets and what the small clips do? Thanks, Lou ![]() |

Lou, They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so here's two copies of my old grill. PJ TOP, ![]() |

Dan & Paul, thanks for the photos. They're exactly what I was looking for. It looks like the clip sandwiches the slat to the bracket and the screw is tighten to squeeze the slat to the bracket and hold it in place. It seems to be a hokey setup but it works. One last question... does the flat side of the slat face towards the center of the grille or towards the outside? Thanks, Lou |

Mine are towards the center. Dan |

Thanks Dan! I've looked at numerous photos of TF's but couldn't make out which way the slats were positioned. Now I know. Lou |
