MG TD TF 1500 - TF Paint, Tub is Home
OK, The correctness police won't like it, but I love it! The tub is home finally! Problem taking pictures of it as the paint is so shinny, it picks up everything around it in a reflection. Like trying to photograph a mirror and not show anything in the glass. Thank goodness it's home and I can get back to work on it! Here's some shots.PJ

Gentleman, they hey all look great!!! The weather out here in Sacramento CA has dropped into the 50-60s. I went to my paint supplier to see how I could continue since the catalysts requires consistent 70 degree temps to work so as not to trap the solvents. I came home with two infrared lamps that'll do the trick. I am told that the lamps will fully cure the paint in approximately 30 mins time. Going to try them out today. I have a few more bit parts that need to be sand blasted also but it is raining outside where I do this so it'll have to wait a few days. My cowls stress cracks have been welded and its ready to install back on the tub. Let the painting begin! |

Paul. Really looks great! Makes me start eying my 401(k) regarding a restoration. |

Looks great! With the market so far up, not a bad time to raid the 401k. George |
