MG TD TF 1500 - TF tank bracket hardware
Are those slotted, hexagonal top, flat-headed 2BA x 1-inch, machine screws holding on the fuel tank brackets in the photo? They screw into T nuts. Can't find the specification in the TF hardware reference. thanks, Tyler ![]() |

Yes. 10-24 (or 10-36?) T nuts will work |

Not slotted on my late 1500, but probably just out of a different bucket of bolts at the bodyworks. Can I ask if there is any original factory red paint on that car Tyler? Seems to be a popular subject at the moment. Matthew. |

mine were slotted.Guess I have to use 2BA since the original T nuts were installed in the replacement panel by Fenton Bagley. thanks, Tyler No, that's red paint over a black car. |

Hex on my TD with lock washers. |

TD and TF had hex bolts and spring washers, note the ply back board and the tank supports were painted black not body colour.

If original you may find that the bolts are 3/16 BSW and not 2BA Aeroboy |
