MG TD TF 1500 - TF wiper knob screw

Does anyone know a source for the screw that holds the TF wiper knob onto the shaft?

Can't say for sure, but at that size its most likely to be a 2BA screw.

Try British Tools and Fasteners, they have a nice website and they list 2BA screws

They are either 3BA or 4BA "Cheese Head" by approximately 1/2 inch long. Unfortunately my memory is failing, but I know 2BA is too large. As I recall, I had to shorten the screws slightly. They are available from British Tools & Fasteners for 50 cents each, so order both sizes to be sure. You will get hit for a minimum order so take inventory of any fasteners you may need in the future. Regards, John

Most likely 4BA as it is much more common than 3BA. Cheers - Dave

The odd BA sizes were mostly used by the Post Office / Royal Mail (because they wouldn't fit anything else - allegedly!).
