MG TD TF 1500 - Thread size water tap on block?

Does anyone know offhand what the thread size is for the water tap on the side of the block?

Dave did a great job on the engine fasteners. One of the reasons I did not try to duplicate it when I did the body/frame/suspension fastener list.

Pretty standard stuff, Gene; ¼" NPT

I replaced my two taps with these. Nice polished brass. Paid $4 for each.

I would think it is 1/4" BSP and not NPT.
