MG TD TF 1500 - Triumph web site

A neighbor just bought a very nice '69 Triumph GT6. Is there any web site that is focused on Triumphs that is as good as this site? He, and I'm afraid that includes me, is going to need some good references for things that he will want to do to it and for regular maintenance.

There is a part supplier that list in the catalouge all the parts, including the specs, etc. ie bolt SAE 10-32 X 1" I did find it helping a friend with some info on his GT6. I didn't bookmark it , but I know it is out there.

Hello Mark
Have your neighbor try the Triumph Experience, I go to the MG Experience portion of the site several times a day and it's great, so I imagine the Triumph section should be as well.

Thanks Guys. I now have a starting point. I'm afraid it is going to be a long journey! Somehow after owming MG's for 40 years, I just don't seem too keen on other cars, but I'll help my friend out anyway. Thanks again. Mark

Steve. Sometimes the obvious just stares at you without you knowing it. The site doesn't look too active but it certainly is another avenue for information.

Thanks

Mark, The British Car Forum has always been pretty active in the Triumph section.

The 6pack is a friendly and informative site. The GT6 and the TR6 are just about the same. Since I own both TRs and MGs I find this group very similar.

Good luck.

The shop manual is really a superb reference.

Try Moss, Team Triumph, British Victoria, British parts of the Northwest, etc.

Joe

PS Be careful the 1969 has some unique engine parts.

Forgot the Roadster Factory.

As a Spitfire owner I can tell you the triumph experience is the place for GT-6 discussion.
