Thanks to everybody for all the effort that went into this, very much appreciated.

Bud-- Do you have an address for Rick regarding updates on the TF list? The links on the site are not working.

Thanks--

I'm surprised to hear that the email link isn't working. Anybody else having a problem with it?
Rick is a/k/a rgt(at)fuse.net. Bud

Worked perfectly for me. Very few GB cars on this list, including mine.

It doesn't work for me Bud. Most likely something about my PC settings that I have no idea about. When
I click on it the PC opens another homepage. Same thing happens if I click on your email. Like I said it's probably something in my settings.

Google mailto: settings for your browser, it should open a new email in your default mail application, set Rick's email address and set the subject into that new email for you.

Should be easy enough to find how to change.

Here is a guide to setting in Internet Explorer and Firefox:

Regarding the Link problem, as near as I can tell from perusing the internet is that there is a problem with Google Chrome and Windows 10 which is yet to be fixed.

I just tried opening the TF list webpage from my laptop using Microsoft Edge (Windows10) and Chrome. Both had no problem accessing my email program when I clicked on Rick's name. Each could also open the latest version of the .htm file. But, since the relevant files exist in the computer that m,ay not be a valid test.
Ideally, the macro will open the user's mail program with Rick's email address in the To block. The code being used is valid html5 from Microsoft Expression Web 4. I'll put Rick's email address on the page (without the @ symbol to avoid the machines). Bud

Just tried opening the .htm list using my cell phone. It's an iphone6 with iOS 10.2.1. Using the Safari App it won't open the new version of the TF list. Using Firefox on the iphone6 it does indeed open the latest version of the TF list. So the issue does, indeed, appear to be browser-related. Befuddling! Bud

So it appears that around 13.5% of all TFs ever built are accounted for. That is a pretty impressive survival rate for a car whose last model was built nearly 62 years ago!

After a good bit of working with some folks I'm pretty sure that the problem with viewing the latest htm version is related to users not refreshing their browser. The 2014 file is still in some folks' memory.

Can't say about the email link. Perhaps Peter G's post can solve that. Bud
