MG TD TF 1500 - Wheel lift jack

I have 2 different wheel jacks that came with my 1952 TD Mark II. Both are similar in size. Both have the "Shelley" name cast into them. Are either correct for the TD or my 1936 TA? The jack diagram in the Moss catalog is completely different. Thanks.

John Masters

The one on the left look just like the one I have on the TF. My TF is an early production #1414.

The red jack I can not say for certain. Here is a good link on Shelly jacks.

Definitely the black one on the left correct for a TD. Also have no clue about the black one. George

Yes, the left one is identical to my 51 TD jack

The red one could be MGA. A study of Frank's link should show you which one.

A couple of sources point to the red one being a Shelley LJ225 which among other cars would have been used with the MGA:

The one on the right is identical to the one that came with my MGA MkII.

The jack on the left is the same as the one in my 55 TF. PJ

Black Jack is what is in my TF...Red Jack (from memory) looks like what was in my old Austin 3000.
