MG TD TF 1500 - windshield wiper wire bracket

I'm currently finishing the restoration of my 1950 RHD windscreen, and find that i no longer have the two small brackets that hold the windscreen wiper bracket to the top frame... I'm hoping that someone might have a good close-up picture of the bracket, or better still, a couple of spare brackets...

I also want to thank you all for providing valuable information in my restoration project.

I assume they were the same as the 53 LHD ones?

While its not shown on the picture, look at Abingdon
http://www.abingdonsparesllc.com/catpg37detail.html

Part 37-75C. Its listed as a chrome wire clip clip.
I am going to call on Monday to see if that's it.

I want to thank you for the post. I did not know they were there.

If that is no whet is needed, then I will be making two out of SS.
I can make 4 just as easily.

Now I am confused!!!!!!!!!!!

1952 (made early Jan of 52) TD.

I am about to put back my windscreen after replacing the glass.
I have the wire set up to mount the WW Motor on the RIGHT hand side of the windscreen, the side away from the driver. It is shown this way on several pictures including on on Chris' site, an unrestored 51. With the motor mounted on this side there is no need for clips.

I do see two screw holes that could hold the clips if the motor were mounted on the LEFT side.
The WSM (Page 2) seems to show it on the LEFT side, But that is a RHD TD.

On a LHD 52' with the side mounted motor, which side does the WW Motor go?

Jim: The clips are needed if you put the windshield in the center (53) or on the left side (RHD). For LHD cars there are NO clips.

Thanks Chris.
I just looked at both Dave's page and did a search of the archives.
They confirm your information.
Good I don't need to take the frame apart again.
