MG TD TF 1500 - wiper arms
Once again require assistance in determining what "T" these arms are suitable for. They are adjustable and will fit a 1/4" shaft. Thank-you John

Look like TD/TC to me John, but I'm puzzled by what appears to be two different arm lengths. |

Hello La Verne , They are adjustable . one is fully extended and the other fully retracted . You will note that there is no hook up on the arms to connect the cross over linkage . John |

Could these arms be for a T.F. seeing that there is no cross over linkage that is designed for the T.C. or T.D. . John |

Could be I suppose John but the ones on my TF have the compression nut on the underside instead of the top of the arm. But I imagine these would work there as well...depending on how long they are. I failed to notice the lack of the link attachment. |

The compression nut is on the underside on my TF as well. Interestingly, the wipers on my uncles 1937 Chevy are identical to those on my TF. |

These could be for a LandRover? They had a motor on each blade. At least the one we had in the RAF did. Rod |

The wiper arms with the compression nut facing forward are generally the pre-war style. However, all MG wipers through the T series used a 3/16 inch shaft, not 1/4 inch. |

Hello La Verne The cross over link I'm referring to is the link that attaches one wiper arm to the other . On the T.D. wiper arms ( top side ) there is a bracket or //// that allows you to connect the cross over linkage to both arms .These are needed to support the single wiper motor feature. John |

Yes John, I just didn't notice they were absent in the pictures when I commented. |
