Triumph TR6 - Car Decals and car Badges

Gents... Where can I find the measurements or location specs to place the decals on the rear fenders and the British Leyland badge on the front fenders? Thanks for your help and responses.
A Findlay

The front one was never really the same as they were put on by hand. In fact some cars had one on both sides ,some only one.

What Badges do you have for the back?
DON KELLY

I have the decals, that go on side of each rear fender, it's a union jack with TR6 in the middle. The badges for the front fenders are of British Leyland. Your right that some cars have two some none and everyone seems to be located differently. Some higher than others...
A Findlay

Oh, the rear fender. Doh
Don't have that as it is a later car I guess.

You want a pic of my Front one?
DON KELLY

Hey Don, Thanks but the picture won't really help me. I need some measurements, distance from the crease and how far from the wheel well....same as the back decals, I think they are in line with the rear light but not sure how far from the rear lights.

Was gonna put a ruler on all of it

Like to help you out A but I did a full restore including paint so mine might not be exactly in the correct location. I know I am close though.

Surely someone here has original badges and can measure for you.

From the archives...:
To find the location, go to the 6-pack archives, http://www.team.net/archive/6pack
type in "TR6 badge location".

In summary: "The "T" (in TR6) is 6 1/2" from the edge of the tailight chrome (for the driver's side. Adjust for the curb side) The top of the badge is 1 1/4" from the top of the tailight chrome. With the badge being on the same plane as the tailight.

For the badge, it's 12 inches from the pin stripe (if you have one) and 2 inches in from the rear edge of the outer wing.

If all else fails and you can't find the measurements, go to a car show and find an original car. Take a piece of thin white paper and tape it over the logo and the tail light location. With a pencil, scribble over the logo and tail light location until the image comes out. Cut it out and use it as a stencil. Make sure you scribble an image of the rear light location so that you can use it to line up the stencil to your car.

Thanks everyone I've got a pretty good idea now...

I'm sorry we couldn't be ore help.
I know I've seen pics with the measurements spelled out.
Wish I would have saved them

My 2 cents...

As I look at the passenger side of my 76:

The top left corner of the Union flag is 7/8 inches forward of the tailight and 6 7/8 inches down from the lip around the trunk when I hook a tape measure on the lip and wrap it around and down the wing.

My car is supposed to be a 'restored to original' car so this is "unofficial" but sure looks good.
