Triumph TR6 - Neporene valve cover gasket
I just got Justin Wagner's neoprene valve cover gasket and I have to say that it is impressive. He includes extensive instructions, gasket cement, and new bolts and rubber washers.

I've been thinking about one of those too Dick. Neat piece. Now, join up. <G> Jim (watching the goose watching the geese)

I've asked Wagener to put me on distribution for the aluminum cover version when it's available. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&category=34202&item=2454613926&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBWA%3AIT Rick O.

It thought the gasket was silicone and not neoprene, and that you had to do the final cure in your oven...

I'm bad. You are right I am wrong. It is made out of silicone. Nothing in the instructions about having to do final cure in oven. I am a memeber, have no idea why it shows otherwise. Porter

Dick, be sure and let us know if it goes on as easily as claimed. John in SoFl

I had read a while back that the gasket had to go through a final cure in one's oven - you know, laid out on a cookie sheet. That would give the better half heartburn here... So maybe that step's been taken out of the formula. Let us know how it works out! BB
